Creating a compelling resume

  6. Use bullet points to list specific skills, including both technical and soft skills.
  7. Tailor the skills section to align with the job requirements.
  8. Focus on accomplishments and quantifiable results:
  9. Use action verbs to begin each bullet point in your work experience section (e.g., managed, implemented, achieved).
  10. Emphasize your achievements and contributions to previous employers or projects.
  11. Whenever possible, quantify your accomplishments with numbers or percentages to demonstrate the impact of your work.
  12. Describe your work experience:
  13. Start with your most recent or current job and work backward chronologically.
  14. Provide a brief overview of the company or organization you worked for, including its industry and size.
  15. Describe your responsibilities and key tasks, emphasizing the skills and knowledge you utilized.
