Job Description:

As an Auto Paint Technician at Charleston Fleet Services, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the vehicles we work on are finished to the highest standards. Your expertise in auto body painting will help us deliver exceptional results to our customers.

Responsibilities:

- Primarily painting truck beds, tailgates, etc.

- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking.

- Apply primers, base coats, and clear coats using spray guns or other painting equipment.

- Inspect painted surfaces for quality and consistency, making necessary adjustments or corrections.

- Perform touch-ups and detailing to ensure a flawless finish.

- Maintain a clean and organized work area, including proper storage and disposal of paint and chemicals.

- Assist with automotive upfitting, repair and maintenance tasks as required

Note: This position may also require additional skills and qualifications related to mechanics or specific automotive repair specialties.
