Automotive Entry Level New/Used Service Technician

Mazda & Kia of Fargo is looking for an experienced Automotive Service Technician to join our growing team. The Automotive Service Technician will be responsible for vehicle repair and maintenance as assigned in accordance with dealer and factory standards.  This position will build customer loyalty by developing trust and ensuring confidence through effectively diagnosing and repairing vehicles.

Responsibilities

• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership
• Test-drive vehicles, and test components and systems, using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Diagnosing, maintaining, and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers can be informed if any additional service is needed.  Providing an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications

• 5+ years of dealership automotive repair experience
• A high production capacity
• Ability to multitask effectively
• A positive attitude and the ability to spread it to others
• Career minded and looking for a place to call home
• The willingness to be a top performer on a top performing team
• Willing to submit to a background check
• Must have clean & valid driver's license
