Automotive Service Technician

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of automotive systems and diagnostics. This role requires a commitment to providing exceptional customer service while ensuring all repairs and maintenance are performed to the highest standards.

Ford and Lincoln experience is not required.  We are hiring technicians with automotive experience with other brands as well. Our pay is extremely competitive and above average for the area.

Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Diagnose, maintain, and repair vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning, etc.
• Perform work specified on the repair order with efficiency and in accordance with dealership processes
• Test-drive vehicles and test components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment
• Communicate directly with the Service Advisor so that customers are informed if any additional services are needed. Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
• Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications

Qualifications:

• Automotive technician experience
• Energetic, positive, and a team player
• A friendly attitude with a customer service mentality
• Enjoy working in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to learn new technology, repair and service procedures and specifications
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record
