Automotive Technician / Mechanic

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Mainline Automotive Technician to join our supportive team. The ideal candidate will have a strong focus on efficiency, minimal rework, and a professional approach to all aspects of their work. If you are a skilled technician looking to flag as many hours as possible in a positive work environment, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues
• Perform a wide range of automotive repairs and services with a focus on quality and efficiency. These may include engine and transmission replacements, as well as repairs to electrical systems, brakes, steering and suspension systems, and climate control systems.
• Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive and professional work environment.
• Document work performed on all vehicles accurately

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Proven experience as an automotive technician
• Certification from ASE, completed manufacturer training, or equivalent work experience.
• Strong attention to detail
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
• Willingness to learn and stay up-to-date with the latest automotive technology and repair methods
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Physical Demands:

• Ability to stand for up to 9 hours
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without assistance
• Ability to work in confined spaces and in varying weather conditions
• Ability to bend, kneel, and squat, and use either or both arms for reaching in all directions. High grip strength, neck flexion and extension, and cervical rotation.
