APPALACHIA ENERGY PARTNERS is seeking a skilled mechanic to assist in all facets of our business. We are interested in adding a mechanic to assemble, maintain and repair company machinery and vehicles. This includes, but is not limited to: tractors, blowers, N2 trailers, etc. You will be responsible for ensuring functionality and reliability of machines, engines, and mechanical systems. This is a full-time position.

Job Responsibilities:
- Build and assemble machines or mechanical components according to requirements
- Inspect machines, engines, transmissions, etc.
- Run diagnostic tests to discover functionality issues
- Conduct repairs or replace broken dysfunctional parts aiming for maximum reliability
- Troubleshoot reported problems accurately & resolve them in a timely manner
- Conduct thorough routine maintenance on machinery, equipment, & systems to ensure functionality & longevity
- Clean and apply lubricants to machinery components
- Replenish fluids & components of engines and machinery
- Provide consultation on correct maintenance and preventative measures to machine or vehicle users
- Provide accurate estimates (cost, time, effort) for a repair or maintenance job
- Undertake other duties assigned (repair of hydraulic systems, paint/logo vehicles, etc.)
- Keep detailed logs of work and report on issues

Requirements:
- Proven Experience as a mechanic
- Must furnish own tools
- Excellent knowledge of machinery and hydraulic, electrical, and other systems & components
- Working knowledge of vehicle diagnostic systems & methods
- Skill in using various hand tools and precision measurement tools
- Ability to follow established procedures & practices
- Ability to read instruction, blueprints, etc. and follow accordingly
- Strong commitment to all health and safety company guidelines
- Problem-solving ability
- Good physical strength and stamina
- High school diploma is preferred – certification from vocational school or completion of apprenticeship is a plus
- Valid certification (ASE) is preferred
