Diesel Mechanic

Up to $45/hour. $1500 sign on bonus!

We are looking for a Diesel Mechanic to join our team! If you’re passionate about keeping vehicles safe and reliable, this is the opportunity for you.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on school buses, vans, and fleet vehicles
• Diagnose and repair diesel and gasoline engines, transmissions, brakes, and electrical systems
• Troubleshoot fuel systems, injectors, turbochargers, and emissions systems
• Conduct routine safety inspections and ensure compliance with DOT regulations
• Respond to on-road breakdowns as needed
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and work orders
• Work with the team to prioritize and schedule repairs
• Keep a clean and organized work area while following company safety policies

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of mechanic experience (diesel or heavy-duty vehicle preferred)
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines, air brakes, and electrical diagnostics
• ASE certification (preferred)
• CDL with Passenger and School Bus endorsements (or willingness to obtain)
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various conditions
