About You
We are looking for a Fleet & Commercial Service Advisor to join our team! The right candidate will have a positive attitude, excellent communication skills, time-management skills, and a desire to provide superb customer service.
Primary Accountabilities
The day-to-day duties of this role include:
- Identifies and document service, maintenance, and repair services for customers
- Advises customers on needed repairs; determines and recommends maintenance based on age, mileage, and history of vehicle
- Schedule appointments
- Communicates and consults with technicians
- Prepares a complete, accurate estimate of cost for repairs
- Works with warranty guidelines and extended warranty companies
- Execute repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications
- Ensure that all factory and OSHA training is up to date
- Communicate directly with the technicians so customers are informed if any additional services are needed
- Provide an estimate of time needed for additional repairs
- Monitor the progress of vehicles throughout the day, updates the customers frequently
- Explain all completed work and charges to customers
Service Advisor Qualifications
- Working knowledge of mechanical operations of motor vehicles
- Energetic personality
- 2+ years’ experience as a Service Advisor, Assistant Lane Manager, or Service Consultant
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Basic computer competencies and willingness to learn new programs
- Excellent customer service skills, positive, friendly attitude, with an eagerness to improve
- Enjoy working in a dynamic environment
- Ability to collaborate with other team members effectively
- Valid driver's license and clean driving record
