Heavy Diesel/Field Mechanic
Heimes CorpHeavy Diesel/Field mechanic is needed. Heimes Corporation is seeking qualified personnel to diagnose, repair, and provide maintenance on equipment/vehicles. Heimes Corporation is a construction company based out of Omaha, Nebraska. Heimes Corp. provides a wide range of services including but not limited to: Excavating, Underground Utilities, Recycled Concrete, Plumbing, Directional Drilling, Underground Storage Tanks, Wrecking, Transportation, and Hazardous Materials Cleanup/Hauling (ESI).
Applicant must have experience with all types of construction equipment: CASE, CAT, John Deere, Komatsu. CDL class A with hazmat & tanker is preferred. Welding talent is a plus. Ability to work on Ford gas and diesel pickups through Class 8 trucks is also beneficial. Cummins, CAT, and Detroit engines. Keep accurate and legible daily records. Pass pre-employment drug screen. Must be 19 years of age or older and posses a valid driver’s license with a clean driving record. Applicant must have his own tools to use on the job.
Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and abide by DOT regulations. Zero tolerance policy for cell phone use while behind the wheel (including hands free devices). We utilize the E-Verify system for employment eligibility. For construction safety reasons applicant must speak and understand the English language.
Pay varies depending on previous experience.
