Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable Internal Service Advisor to join our automotive service team. This role requires a strong understanding of automotive diagnostics, excellent communication skills, and a passion for customer satisfaction. 

Duties

  • Write Internal Repair Orders, coordinate with Used Car Manager and Technicians, build and communicate repair estimates, follow-up on the progress of repairs, and update service repairs
  • Provide detailed explanations of services required, including brake repair, oil changes, and other maintenance tasks.
  • Utilize automotive diagnostics to identify issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
  • Prepare service estimates and manage service writing effectively to ensure clarity.
  • Coordinate with mechanics to ensure timely completion of services while maintaining high-quality standards.
  • Follow up with post-service to ensure satisfaction and address any further questions or concerns.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, services performed, and parts used.
  • Stay informed about the latest automotive technologies and service techniques to provide knowledgeable advice.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in automotive service is preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of automotive systems, including brake repair, oil change procedures, and general maintenance.
  • Excellent sales skills with the ability to effectively communicate recommendations.
  • Proficiency in auto estimating and service management software is a plus.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • A valid driver's license is required.
