Core Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough diagnostics, maintenance and repairs to vehicle systems including engine, transmission, electrical steering, suspension, brakes, air conditioning etc.
• Conduct comprehensive routine vehicle inspections to ensure safety and reliability, and document findings and recommended maintenance or repairs.
• Communicate additional services needed to the Service Advisor, providing an estimate of time needed to complete additional repairs.
• Execute work specified on the repair order in accordance with dealership and manufacturer standards.
• Complete warranty repair work in compliance with manufacturer specifications.

Desired Qualifications and Experience:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience as a mainline automotive technician required.
• Proficient with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, repairs and maintenance.
• ASE and/or Mazda certified preferred.
• Must have your own tools and tool box.
• Demonstrates thorough workmanship coupled with strong troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
• Effective written and verbal communication and general computer skills.
• Must work well in a team environment, and be able to stand for extended periods.
• A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are required.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.

Hours and Work Environment:

The Service Department is open 7am – 6pm weekdays and 7am – 4pm on Saturdays. We are seeking candidates who are available to work Saturdays. You will have Sundays and one week day off. Technicians enjoy a high volume workload in a climate-controlled shop environment.
