Job Description
Wilshire is seeking a Senior Financial Data Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in financial modeling, data analysis, and automation to deliver valuable insights and solutions to clients and internal stakeholders. Through building and enhancing analytical tools, developing efficient processes, and communicating findings to client executives, you will play a key part in optimizing fund performance and supporting client initiatives. What you’ll do:
Build, maintain, enhance, and present financial models to optimize fund expenses and other performance metrics
Develop and maintain automated solutions to enhance operating efficiency
Develop and maintain relational databases
Monitor and track expenses and fund/firm performance in accordance with client engagement initiatives, including calculation and review of savings and pickup analysis
Serve as a trusted client resource, including presenting periodic findings and analysis to client executive management
Work with various business functions in reviewing annual financial targets/goals, analysis, and measurement to meet top line product attainment
Analyze global performance of funds, including financial and other operational KPI’s for various clients
Support ParkLexington Business Team for data discovery and visualization, including sharing and collaborating on best practices
Perform monthly financial and operational analysis for various funds
Partner with ParkLexington Leadership team to create a long term strategic, financial, and operational model ensuring continued business growth
Visualize large data sets to find trends and clusters to build machine learning models
Address business ad-hoc projects and analysis as necessary
Qualifications
Master’s degree in analytics, finance or related fields.
3+ years of related work experience in the asset management industry with a focus on financial modelling or FP&A a plus
Prior experience in financial services or robotic process automation (RPA) a plus
Outstanding financial skills with financial modelling and data visualization expertise
Experience with visualization tools like Power BI, Tableau and Visio
Experience building supervised and unsupervised machine learning models
Proficient in RDBMS and data query languages like SQL
Proficiency in Python, R, Microsoft Excel; experience with any other statistical modeling tools is a plus
Analytical approach to work with problem solving skills and initiative
Excellent communication skills and client facing experience
Ability to work on your own and identify value in an unstructured situation and meet deadlines
Strong work ethic, collaborative approach, and positive attitude

This position will work on a hybrid model out of our Conshohocken office

The pay range for this position is $120,000-$140,000. However, base pay will be determined on an individual basis considering various factors, including location, qualifications, skills, and experience. The total compensation package includes eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus and a full range of health and financial benefit offerings, which will be provided in conjunction with an offer of employment.
