Description of the role:

The Tire & Lube Technician at Elko Motor Company will be responsible for performing tire repairs, oil changes, and other routine maintenance tasks on customer vehicles. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform tire repairs, rotations, and replacements
  • Conduct oil changes and filter replacements
  • Inspect vehicles for potential issues and make recommendations for additional maintenance or repairs
  • Assist with other general maintenance tasks as needed
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area
  • Communicate effectively with customers regarding recommended services and estimated completion times

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous experience in a tire and lube technician role preferred
  • Valid driver's license
  • Ability to lift heavy objects and work in a standing position for extended periods of time
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
