Automotive Customer Service Representative

Job Overview:
As a Customer Relations Specialist, you are often the first point of contact for our guests, both over the phone and in person. Your role is essential in creating a welcoming environment and building strong customer relationships. You will schedule appointments, greet customers as they arrive, and ensure that all the necessary information is gathered for their visit. You will also provide shuttle rides when needed, assist with ordering parts, and enter information into our work order system. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, can multitask in a busy environment, and is eager to learn about automotive service in order to support our customers and team..
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Answer phones, schedule appointments, and provide clear, friendly communication
• Greet every customer that enters our facility with hospitality and respect
• Gather accurate information from customers regarding their visit and service needs
• Provide shuttle rides for customers as needed
• Assist with entering and managing parts orders in our system
• Learn and use our work order system to write simple repair orders
• Maintain a clean and welcoming front office environment
• Build strong customer relationships by demonstrating care and professionalism
• Work as part of a team to support shop operations
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
• Current driver’s license
• Driving record acceptable to our insurance carrier
• Strong communication skills, in person and on the phone
• Ability to learn basic automotive terminology and processes
• Proficiency with Windows-based software and comfort learning shop applications
• Previous customer service experience preferred
Physical Requirements:
• Dependable and reliable for a position scheduled Monday – Friday, 7am – 6pm
• On your feet for much of the day (standing, walking, assisting customers, etc.)
• Occasionally lifting and carrying objects up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to maintain a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
