Job Overview:
As an Automotive Service Advisor / Writer with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are the person that our guests look to when they need help with their vehicle. You are the person that our guests see every time they make an investment into their vehicle, because of these reasons you play a large role in building relationships with our guests.
Service Advisors have the responsibility of taking our guest through the entire repair process, keeping them informed of the status of their vehicle and ensuring their satisfaction before they leave our facility.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Greet every guest that enters our facility with hospitality and respect
Shuttle guests as needed
Maintain a positive attitude and team atmosphere at all times
Communicate on the phone in a clear professional manner
Participates in performing guest service activities
Present the best solution to properly repair our guest’s vehicle in a way that is easy for them to understand
Work together as a team and assist other employees as needed.
Contribute to the store’s workflow in an effective and efficient manner
Consistently and effectively sell our services without jeopardizing honesty and integrity
Build long-term relationships between the store, yourself and the guest
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Current driver’s license
1+ years automotive industry experience
Demonstrated proficiency in texting and other computer technology
2+ year in sales
Work constructively in a team environment
Ability to follow defined workflow and processes
Manage 10-15 guest interactions per day
Professional communication skills with teammates and guests, including written and verbal communication
Ability to type 30+ WPM preferred
Ability to source automotive parts from appropriate vendors preferred
Work history in phone based sales and / or customer service preferred
Work history with customer service performance scores preferred
Driving record acceptable to our current insurance carrier
Physical Requirements:
Being dependable and reliable for a position that is scheduled for Monday – Friday, 7am – 6pm, with one day per week typically off
Being on your feet the majority of the workday (standing, walking, coordinating parts, etc.)
Occasionally lifting and carrying objects over 50 lbs.
Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
