Position Overview:
We are looking for a skilled and experienced Mid-Level Diesel Technician to join our team at our South Boston, Massachusetts location. Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (preferred)
- Vocational or Technical Certification (preferred)
- Basic tools (required)
- At least two (2) years of hands-on experience or training in mechanical repair of automotive gas or diesel engines
- Valid CDL Class A license (preferred) – must obtain within 6 months of hire
- Must pass a Drug Test, DOT physical, road test, and background check
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform routine vehicle maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, brake work, and tire inspections
- Use diagnostic equipment to identify mechanical and electronic problems
- Replace defective components and perform necessary repairs
- Interact with customers and drivers to accurately diagnose and resolve issues
- Maintain a clean, safe work environment
- Ensure compliance with all safety, DOT, and company guidelines
