Experienced Mercedes Mechanic

Job Description: 

We are currently seeking an experienced automotive mechanic to work at Wolfgangs of Tenafly. Our well known shop specializes in Mercedes Benz and we are looking for two experienced techs to join our team. Work on amazing vehicles in a great atmosphere. Clean shop with all of the latest equipment.  Candidates must be fluent in all aspects of diagnosis and repair, specifically with Mercedes Benz. We work on other vehicles however Mercedes is our focus.

Responsibilities:

- Conducting routine maintenance on vehicles, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections

- Diagnosing and repairing mechanical and electrical issues

- Conducting inspections and test drives to diagnose issues

- Using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify issues

- Ordering parts and supplies as needed

- Keeping track of work orders and invoices

- Providing excellent customer service and communicating effectively with clients

Requirements:

- Minimum of 5+ years of experience working as an automotive mechanic

- Strong understanding of European car models and their unique features

- Ability to diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues

- Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Excellent problem-solving skills

- Strong attention to detail

- Excellent customer service skills

- Strong communication skills

- Available to work a minimum of 40 hours per week, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with a 30-minute lunch

- Minimum of two references
