Key Responsibility:

• Will be responsible for set up and troubleshooting of production line equipment.
• Will perform necessary preventive maintenance to production line equipment.
• Will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of facility auxiliary and environmental systems and machinery.
• Become familiar with new equipment as added to plant.
• Make reasonable repairs on equipment with minimal downtime.
• Shut down plant in case of an emergency, survey for any damage and restart plant when safe to do so.
• Planning, layout, and installation of new equipment.
• Other projects and duties assigned by supervisor.
• Requires high-level mechanical skills.
• Must have knowledge of chemical compounding equipment.
• Must know how to change motors and minor electrical repair in the absence of the electrician.
• Knowledge of machine shop and minor machining in absence of machinist.
• Knowledge of labelers and ink-jet printers.
• Knowledge of advanced tooling and safety operation.
• Ability to read technical drawing and diagrams.
• Knowledge of aerosol and liquid filling equipment
• Read and understand pneumatic and schematic diagrams.
• Exhibit basic knowledge of PLC’s (programmable logic controls)

 Qualifications:

• Knowledge of industrial equipment such as liquid and gas filling equipment, conveyors, labelers, dispensers, motors and drives is a plus.
• Ability to multi-task effectively, adapt quickly and effortlessly to changing business priorities and working conditions.
• Must possess knowledge of basic machine shop equipment.
• Must possess basic knowledge and ability to fabricate parts and assemblies.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Must possess knowledge of mechanical troubleshooting
• Must be team oriented and self-directed.
• Must possess basic math skills.
• Read, write, and speak English; able to receive, and provide clear instructions.
• Must possess basic computer skills.

Compensation: 

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $22.00 per hour in our lowest geographic market up to $31.00 per hour in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
