Key Responsibilities:

  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on machinery and mechanical equipment, including conveyors, motors, and production machines, to ensure optimal performance.
  • Troubleshooting and Repair: Diagnose mechanical issues, dismantle defective machines, and install new or repaired parts, ensuring minimal disruption to operations.
  • Installation: Install new machinery and equipment, ensuring all installations meet safety and operational standards.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, replacements, and preventive maintenance schedules.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with other departments to coordinate maintenance activities and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Maintenance Mechanic in an industrial or manufacturing setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in reading and interpreting mechanical drawings and manuals; skilled in the use of hand and power tools.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills with the ability to identify and resolve mechanical issues efficiently.
  • Physical Stamina: Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50+lbs, stand for extended periods, and work in various environmental conditions.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification or vocational training in mechanics is preferred.
  • Communication Skills: Effective verbal and written communication abilities; capable of working collaboratively in a team environment.
