Automotive Service Advisor

Description of the role:

The Automotive Service Advisor position at Jim Falk Motors of Maui - Chevrolet / Cadillac/ GMC / Nissan / Hyundai in Kahului, Hawaii involves providing exceptional customer service and guidance to clients regarding their automotive service needs. This role requires strong communication and problem-solving skills to effectively assist customers and ensure their satisfaction.

Responsibilities:

• Engage with customers and inquire about their automotive service requirements
• Provide recommendations and explanations to customers regarding necessary repairs and maintenance
• Estimate service costs and provide accurate timelines for completion
• Schedule service appointments and update customers on any changes
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure efficient and timely completion of work
• Address and resolve any customer concerns or complaints regarding service
• Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and service transactions

Requirements:

• Previous experience as an automotive service advisor or a similar customer service role
• Strong knowledge of automotive parts, repair, and maintenance
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to effectively explain technical concepts to non-technical individuals
• Proficient computer skills for maintaining records and communicating with customers
• Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to handle difficult customer situations
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines
• Valid driver's license
