Troubleshoots, analyzes and diagnosing a variety of vehicle problems including automobiles, trucks, tractors, fire equipment, hydraulic operated pumps, small engine equipment and other equipment as necessary.
Responds to road-service calls in a timely manner, services and repairs disabled vehicles and equipment promptly.
Uses specialized hand and power tools to make and complete repairs including welding and fabrication tools and materials.
Assists in maintaining inventory and equipment records; requisitions parts, supplies, tools, equipment and other items as directed.

Must possess a valid Florida Driver License and be able to obtain a valid Florida Commercial Driver License (CDL), Class "B", with air brake endorsement within sixty (60) days from hire date.
