We are seeking a skilled and experienced Diesel Mechanic to
join our team in Watertown, NY. As a Diesel Mechanic, you will be responsible for
diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining diesel engines and related components in
a variety of vehicles and heavy equipment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform
routine maintenance and repairs on diesel engines, including oil changes,
filter replacements, and system diagnostics.
- Troubleshoot
and diagnose mechanical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Repair
or replace faulty parts and components, such as fuel systems, brakes, and
electrical systems.
- Conduct
inspections and tests to ensure vehicles and equipment are in proper
working condition.
- Maintain
accurate records of all maintenance and repair work performed.
- Adhere
to safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
Qualifications:
- 3 -
5 years of experience working as a diesel mechanicÂ
- Cummins, Detroit, or International certification is nice to have, but not a requirement.Â
- Proven
experience as a diesel mechanic, with a strong understanding of diesel
engine systems and components.
- Proficiency
with diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Strong
problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability
to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent
communication and organizational skills.

Shift: Days, 6:00 AM - 3:00 PM Monday – Friday or 4x10 Tuesday - Friday 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM.
