Automotive General Service Technician / Mechanic

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
As a General Service Technician at Christian Brothers Automotive - The Woodlands , you are responsible for, but not limited to, the following:
Completing all maintenance work, such as oil changes, tire rotations, alignments, etc.
Performing a thorough Digital Vehicle Inspection on all vehicles when approved by the customer. Examining the vehicle and discussing recommended services supported by photos, measurements, and detailed findings.
Following all rules and regulations as spoken or written in any form by leadership (i.e. employee handbook and any addendums issued or posted at any time).
Maintaining a positive attitude and team concept at all times.
Acting in a professional manner suitable to represent the quality organization with which you are employed, always and in every instance projecting an attitude of honesty, integrity and respectfulness.
Adhering to all OSHA safety rules and regulations as well as all local regulations regarding shop safety, fuel spill clean-up or other flammable or hazardous materials.
Assisting in all housekeeping functions as directed by leadership.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
One to three years of experience preferred.
Would prefer a high school or equivalent diploma, but this is not required.
Small tool box/roll cart with simple tools needed to perform oil changes and tire rotations.
Physical Requirements:
Occasionally lift and/or move over 50 pounds
Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle's needed repair
Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand-tools
Walk/stand for the majority of the workday
Drive manual transmission vehicles
Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
Efficiently navigate a computer
