o Starting pay $27.25 with progression to $30.04 over 1 year.

Key Responsibilities:Ā
⢠Conduct diagnostic tests using advanced tools and software to troubleshoot diesel engine issues.
⢠Perform moderate complexity repairs and replacements on diesel engine components, ensuring optimalĀ
functionality.
⢠Assist A-Level Mechanics in advanced diagnostic and repair tasks, contributing to efficient workflow.
⢠Execute routine maintenance tasks to prevent breakdowns and optimize diesel engine performance.
⢠Lead diagnostic tests to accurately identify complex issues and determine comprehensive repair strategiesĀ
for diesel engines.
⢠Perform advanced troubleshooting and repair tasks on diesel engines, including overhauling and rebuildingĀ
components to required specifications.
⢠Provide guidance and mentorship to junior technicians, assisting them in developing their skills andĀ
knowledge
⢠Other duties as required.
Ā
Qualifications:Ā
⢠2 years of experience as a Diesel Mechanic.Ā
⢠ASE certifications preferred; ASE certification program providedĀ
⢠Mechanicās Tool SetĀ
⢠Must be able to work shifts or flexible work schedules as needed.
⢠Subject to a DOT drug testing and physical if applicable. DOT Regulation 49 CFR Part 40 does notĀ
authorize the use of Schedule I drugs, including cannabis, for any reason.
Physical Requirements:
The essential functions of this position require the ability to:
⢠Work outside in varying temperature, weather, and humidity conditions-100% of the job is performedĀ
outside, work alone and in remote locations.Ā
⢠Sit for extended periods (up to 6ā8 hours per day); frequently walk for long distances and on possibleĀ
sloped ground or slippery and uneven surfaces
⢠Push and pull objects up to 50 pounds, occasionally throughout the workday; lift material weighing up toĀ
50 lbs. with or without assistance; occasionally bend, kneel, or crouch to files or equipment stored atĀ
ground level
⢠Withstand heavy traffic areas while performing the duties of the job; tolerate exposure to considerableĀ
amounts of dust, vehicle fumes and noise.
