We are seeking an experienced technician who wants stable hours, strong earnings, and a supportive team culture.
Position Overview
Full Service Automotive Technicians are responsible for diagnosing vehicle issues accurately, performing high-quality repairs, and communicating all necessary or recommended maintenance to service advisors or management. This position is ideal for a seasoned technician with strong diagnostic skills and a commitment to professional workmanship.
Technicians at our location earn $90,000 to $120,000+ annually, depending on experience, abilities, and performance.
> This position requires a minimum of 5 years of verifiable professional automotive repair experience.
Primary Duties
Perform purchased repairs accurately, efficiently, and professionally
Diagnose vehicles and communicate findings clearly to service advisors
Inspect vehicles for additional repair, safety, or maintenance needs
Utilize diagnostic tools, power tools, and hand tools effectively
Maintain clear communication with advisors regarding recommendations
Keep work area clean, organized, and compliant with safety standards
Maintain high productivity in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Skills & Experience
Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting abilities
Brake repair expertise
Alignment and suspension knowledge
General mechanical repair proficiency
Diesel experience (preferred but not required)
Ability to continue learning and adapting to new technologies
Proficiency with shop tools, equipment, and repair procedures
Qualifications
5+ years of professional automotive or dealership repair experience (required)
Solid understanding of automotive systems and standard repair procedures
Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in a physically demanding environment
Strong communication skills for explaining recommended services
Knowledge of alignment procedures
Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
Professional, reliable, and safety-focused
Physical Requirements
Able to stand, walk, and move throughout the shop for most of the workday
Regularly lift and carry 50+ lbs
Maintain a brisk, efficient work pace in a busy environment
Dependable, punctual, and committed to consistent attendance
