Position Summary

Lou Fusz Kia of Columbus is seeking a dependable and motivated Quick Lube / Express Technician to join our service department. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a career in automotive service while working in a clean, professional, and supportive environment. The Quick Lube / Express Technician performs light maintenance work such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and multi-point inspections — ensuring each vehicle receives the top-quality service our customers expect.

Responsibilities

• Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and basic maintenance services

• Conduct multi-point inspections and report findings to service advisors

• Check and top off all vehicle fluids, including coolant, transmission, and brake fluids

• Replace air filters, wiper blades, and other routine service items

• Maintain a clean and organized workspace

• Follow all dealership, manufacturer, and safety procedures

• Assist with vehicle check-in and movement around the service area when needed

• Provide excellent customer service and uphold the Lou Fusz reputation for quality

Qualifications

• Previous experience as an express or quick lube technician preferred but not required

• Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn

• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record required

• Must be willing to submit to drug screen and background check

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Dependable, detail-oriented, and able to follow instructions

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods of time
