Service Advisor

Responsibilities:

• Greet customers promptly and professionally

• Obtain accurate customer and vehicle information

• Clearly document all vehicle symptoms as described by the customer

• Recommend maintenance based on vehicle age, mileage, and service history

• Prepare complete and accurate cost estimates for labor and parts

• Establish and communicate follow-up timelines with customers

• Monitor the progress of each vehicle throughout the day and provide timely updates

• Ensure the final invoice matches the work completed on the repair order

• Clearly explain all repairs and charges to customers at vehicle pickup

Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a service advisor, assistant lane manager, or service consultant preferred

• Experience at a Ford dealership is a plus

• Must have an outgoing, positive, and friendly personality

• Strong customer service and communication skills

• Ability to identify problems quickly and accurately

• Basic automotive knowledge and familiarity with service procedures

• High level of personal and professional integrity

• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Basic computer skills and willingness to learn new systems

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a service department preferred

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and remain on your feet for extended periods
