Used Car Technician/ Mechanic

Used Car Technician – C Harper Buick GMC  
 

We’re looking for a skilled Used Car Technician to join our growing Buick GMC service team. In this role, you’ll perform inspections, maintenance, and repairs on our pre-owned vehicle inventory to ensure every car meets our high standards before reaching the sales lot. 

Responsibilities: 

• Perform thorough multi-point inspections on pre-owned vehicles 

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, electrical, and safety issues 

• Complete light and heavy repairs as needed (brakes, suspension, engine, etc.) 

• Perform routine maintenance services to prepare vehicles for sale 

• Accurately document findings and repairs for fast approvals 

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment 

Qualifications: 

• Automotive technician experience (2+ years preferred) 

• ASE certifications are a plus, but not required 

• The ability to diagnose and troubleshoot 

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality 

• Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
