An Estimator is responsible for owning the full estimates and repair process post-vehicle teardown and ensuring quality repairs are provided promptly. āÆThis position requires teammates to have a proven track record of high performance, possess an advanced level of technical knowledge regarding collision repair estimates, be able to communicate detailed repair processes to Body Technicians, and be familiar with major insurance carrier procedures and requirements.Ā
Job Requirements:Ā
Estimate all drive-in appointments as well as āwalk-inā customers and complete repair plansĀ
Complete process review with the customerĀ
Repair Orders: All files are opened with BAR (CA) and DRP compliance, including obtaining proper authorizationsĀ
Check in the vehicle upon drop off with the customerĀ
Prepare and complete proper paperwork for the final customer packet prior to vehicle delivery (DRP, final invoice)Ā
Post-repair plan documentationĀ
Comply with all up-to-date OEM repair proceduresĀ
Provide post-repair plan communication, including all vehicle status updatesĀ
Total loss administrationĀ
Perform other related duties as assigned to ensure an excellent customer service experienceĀ
Final QC, including the test driveĀ
Deliver vehicle to customer upon completionĀ

Skills, Qualifications & Requirements:Ā
Must be at least 18 years of ageĀ
Minimum of 3 years experience in automotive collision repairĀ
Proficiency in sales, estimating, blueprinting, and customer serviceĀ
I-Car training preferredĀ
Knowledge of the CCC ONE estimating system preferredĀ
Ability to effectively communicate with othersĀ
Ability to read and understand instructions, written estimates, and work ordersĀ
Multi-tasking; adapt easily to fast-paced environmentsĀ
