Job Title: Auto Body & Metal Technician

Reports To: Collision Manager

FLSA Status: Non-Exempt

Compensation: $80,000 - $150,000 per year + Signing Bonus Available!

Summary: Ralph Honda Collision is looking for an experienced quality conscious metal tech, who is also experienced in all aspects of the auto collision business. Our collision department has just gone through a renovation & we have the best equipment available. We are a Family owned dealership where you can make a difference. Ralph is the very 1st Honda dealer in N.Y. State. We are an I-Car Gold Class shop as well as a Certified Honda Pro First shop. We are looking for a long term team member to work together with small close knit team. Monday through Friday 8-5 no weekends.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Completing minor to major repairs
  • Disassemble vehicles
  • Write up supplements & work with insurance adjuster
  • Repair vehicles safely & completely to the standards of our organization

Qualifications:

  • Collison shop experience (5 years minimum)
  • Must have own tools
  • Able to straighten frames
  • Repair unibody
  • Repair dents
  • Must have valid drivers license
  • I-Car training preferred

Education/Experience:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED); plus five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.

Math Ability:

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability:

Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.

Valid Driver’s License
