Job Summary:
We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Express Lube Technician to join our service department. This entry-level position is ideal for individuals looking to start or grow their career in the automotive industry. You will be responsible for performing routine maintenance on vehicles and supporting our technicians in keeping our service operation running smoothly.
Responsibilities:
Perform oil and filter changes, tire rotations, and multi-point inspections
Check and top off fluid levels, inspect belts and hoses
Replace air filters, wiper blades, and other minor maintenance items
Maintain clean and safe work environment
Report findings to service advisors and/or technicians
Follow all dealership and manufacturer procedures and safety protocols
Keep accurate records of services performed
Ability to access all areas of vehicles to correctly diagnose problems and perform repairs.
Correctly disassemble and reassemble parts.
Capable of utilizing power tools, including but not limited to, pneumatic wrenches, lathes, jacks and hoists.
Capable of using common hand tools such as sockets, ratchets, wrenches and pliers.
Additional duties as required.
Must be able to work all scheduled hours, including Saturdays and overtime when required

Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and clean driving record
High school diploma or equivalent
Must be 18 years old or older.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality work
Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
Team-oriented, flexible and focused on maintaining a high level of customer service
Ability to explain mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors
Acceptable verbal and written communication skills
Ability to use computers with software programs required for inspection and repair order documentation
Able to carefully follow directions, checklists and established procedures
Willing to adhere to all warranty, federal and state agency and company compliance processes with regards to repair, hazardous materials, disposal and safety
Ability and willingness to complete online and in-person training as required by dealership and manufacturer in a timely basis
Previous automotive or lube tech experience a plus but not required
Willingness to undergo GM training and certifications
