Job Description: responsible for fabricating, assembling, and installing sheet metal components according to engineering specifications and customer requirements. You will work with a variety of metal materials and tools to produce high-quality products that meet our company’s standards for accuracy and craftsmanship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications
- Measure, cut, bend, and shape sheet metal using hand tools, power tools, and machines (e.g., press brakes, shears, rollers)
- Assemble and join metal parts using welding, riveting, or fastening techniques
- Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and compliance with specifications
- Operate CNC machinery and assist with program setup if required
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
- Follow safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting of tools and machines
- Document production activities and maintain records as required
Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in sheet metal fabrication or manufacturing preferred
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documents
- Proficient in using hand tools, measuring instruments, and metalworking machines
- Basic welding skills (MIG/TIG) are an advantage
- Shipping and Receiving experience is an advantage
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Good physical stamina – ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods
- Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing floor with exposure to noise, dust, and sharp materials
- Fast-paced environment with frequent use of machinery and heavy tools
- Overtime or weekend work may be required during peak production times
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $22.00 - $25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
