The City of Pueblo is looking for an experienced mechanic to be our next Shops Supervisor! As the Shops Supervisor, you will prioritize and coordinate repair and maintenance services of vehicles and equipment, supervise, evaluate, and participate in the work of employees, maintain and update repair and costs records and respond to emergency situations while on call. Qualifications
A high school diploma, G.E.D., or higher education
Currently certified A.S.E Master Auto or Master Truck
At least seven (7) years of successful, experience as a mechanic in a motor assembly, automobile repair or machine shop
At least four (4) years of experience in a supervisory capacity in a related environment; and
A valid driver’s license at the time of application, and a valid Colorado driver’s license within 30 days of employment
License restrictions that may hinder your ability to drive on City business, such as an interlock, will be cause for disqualification
During the course of employment, a valid license must be maintained, and the employee must notify the City immediately upon changes to the status of their license
