About the role

The Tire Technician is responsible for overseeing all activity within the production/tire department.  They ensure shop safety guidelines are followed with tire and wheel mount and balance tools and equipment.


What you'll do

  • Properly mount/balance new tires on rims per company specifications
  • Break down and remove boxes/debris from workstation
  • Keep workstations stocked with tire and wheel inventory and supplies
  • Perform inspections of completed work to ensure completion and quality
  • Follow safety procedures
  • Ability to mount, balance, package tires and wheels

 

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • 1+ years in tire/automotive production
  • Knowledge of mounting, balancing, and tools/machine
  • Able to lift 75 lbs.

Physical Demands:

Standing, Walking, Reaching/Bending, Endurance, Balancing/Mobility, Manual Dexterity, Exposure to varying conditions, Repetitive Motion, Lifting to 50 lbs. consistently, safety equipment, loud noises: 8-hour work shift
