Job Overview:
As an Automotive Service Advisor/Writer with Christian Brothers Automotive, you are the trusted professional our guests rely on for assistance with their vehicles. Your role is crucial in building lasting relationships, as you are the face they see every time they invest in their vehicle.
Service Advisors guide our guests through the entire repair process, keeping them informed about the status of their vehicles and ensuring their satisfaction before they leave our facility.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Greet every guest who enters the facility with genuine hospitality and respect
Deliver exceptional phone performance by connecting with guests, confidently communicating the value of recommended services, and maximizing opportunities to capture and schedule business
Clearly present the best solution for properly repairing each guest’s vehicle in a way that is easy to understand
Consistently recommend and sell services with confidence while maintaining honesty and integrity
Direct, coordinate, and actively participate in guest service activities throughout the repair process
Manage the store’s workflow effectively and efficiently to ensure an exceptional guest experience
Ensure all approved repairs are performed to proper specifications and quality standards
Provide shuttle service to guests as needed in a CBA-branded vehicle
Maintain a positive attitude and contribute to a strong, team-oriented atmosphere
Collaborate with team members and assist others as needed
Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualifications:
Valid driver’s license with a driving record that meets current insurance carrier requirements
Proficiency in Windows-based computer systems and automotive shop management software
Prior experience in an automotive customer service, service advisor, service writer, or automotive sales role preferred
Strong communication skills with the ability to clearly explain vehicle needs and service recommendations to guests
Proven ability to build trust, communicate value, and convert inquiries into scheduled service appointments
Organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
Professional demeanor with a commitment to hospitality, integrity, and team collaboration
Physical Requirements:
Being dependable and reliable for a position that is scheduled for Monday – Friday, 7am – 6pm
Being on your feet the majority of the workday (standing, walking, coordinating parts, etc.)
Occasionally lifting and carrying objects over 50 lbs.
Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment
